Email newsletter and subscription confirmation

Writoria uses MailPoet to manage email subscriptions and send newsletter communications, including practical guides, new article notifications, workflow ideas, implementation tips, and welcome messages.

When you submit a newsletter subscription form, the email address you provide is added to a Writoria mailing list with an unconfirmed status. A confirmation email is then sent to that address. You must click the confirmation link before the subscription becomes active and regular newsletter communications are sent.

This confirmation process helps verify that the person controlling the email address requested the subscription and reduces unauthorized or automated sign-ups.

Newsletter communications may include:

Welcome emails for new subscribers.

Email opens may be estimated using a small tracking image included in an email. Link interactions may be recorded through tracked links. Some email applications and privacy features may automatically load images or otherwise affect these measurements, so an indicated “open” does not always mean that a person read the email.

This information may be used to understand whether messages are being delivered, improve the usefulness of newsletter communications, identify inactive or invalid addresses, prevent abuse, and maintain the reliability of the mailing list.

MailPoet and email delivery providers

Writoria uses MailPoet and the MailPoet Sending Service to manage subscribers, send confirmation emails and newsletters, process delivery events, handle returned messages, and maintain email deliverability.
